How we plan NDIS employment support with you
Where support happens
Support may include preparing for training, building time and travel routines, practising communication and accessing suitable employment settings. We can work alongside other employment providers where appropriate.
Before we begin
We clarify the tasks KeyPoint Care can provide and avoid promising a job outcome. Your preferences, funding and workplace requirements shape the support plan.
What the first weeks of employment support look like
We start by listening. You tell us about the work you want, past jobs or study, and the parts of getting or keeping a job that feel hardest right now.
Together we pick one or two practical goals, such as building a travel routine to a workplace, preparing for an interview or practising workplace communication. Employment support is planned around your hours, your energy and any other providers you already work with.
We check in regularly and review progress with you. If a goal needs a different approach, we change it. We are open about what our support can and cannot do, and we never promise a particular job outcome.
Support can take place in Cranbourne West, at your workplace or in nearby suburbs where it is practical.
If you are already working, we can focus on keeping the job going smoothly, such as managing a new roster, travelling at peak times or handling changes in your workplace.
Funding for NDIS employment support
NDIS funding can be self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed. Tell us how your relevant supports are managed and we will confirm the proposed service and payment arrangement before work begins.
We also agree the tasks, worker match, schedule, travel arrangements and relevant costs. Where clinical care is involved, assessment and staff capability are checked before the service is confirmed.
