Innovative community participation in Cranbourne and nearby areas
Try new ways to connect, contribute and follow personal interests. Sometimes a familiar activity is not the right fit. Innovative community participation is an opportunity to explore different ways to connect, contribute or build confidence around an interest. The idea starts with what you want to try.

How we plan innovative community participation with you
Where support happens
We can help research options, plan access and support a first visit. Activities could involve creative interests, learning, volunteering or other suitable community settings, depending on your goals and plan.
Before we begin
We make space to review what worked, what felt difficult and whether the next step should look different. Practical arrangements such as travel, fees and worker support are agreed beforehand.
Getting started with innovative community participation
Innovative community participation works best when it starts small. In our first conversation we talk about the interests you want to explore, the places you already know and anything that has made joining in difficult before.
From there we agree on a first activity and a simple plan for travel, timing and the support you want on the day. After a few sessions we check in together about what felt good, what needs to change and whether you would like to build skills to do more on your own.
If an idea is new to us, we will say so and work it out with you, your family and any other providers involved. You stay in charge of the pace, and you can change direction at any time.
Activities can be in Cranbourne West or nearby suburbs, wherever you feel most at home.
NDIS funding for innovative community participation
NDIS funding can be self-managed, plan-managed or NDIA-managed. Tell us how your relevant supports are managed and we will confirm the proposed service and payment arrangement before work begins.
We also agree the tasks, worker match, schedule, travel arrangements and relevant costs. Where clinical care is involved, assessment and staff capability are checked before the service is confirmed.
